📝 Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2025

The eligibility requirements differ for Paper 1 (Primary Teachers – Classes 1-5) and Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teachers – Classes 6-8).

1️⃣ Eligibility for Paper 1 (Classes 1-5)

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

✔ Completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed or pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
✔ Passed 10+2 with 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) and completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
✔ Attained 50% marks in 10+2 and completed or pursuing a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
✔ Graduated with 50% marks and obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

2️⃣ Eligibility for Paper 2 (Classes 6-8)

Applicants must meet any of the following conditions:

✔ Graduated with at least 50% marks and passed or pursuing a 1-year B.Ed.
✔ Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and completed or pursuing a 4-year B.El.Ed.
✔ Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and obtained a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
